Hello! I love Thursdays. I always have, and hopefully always will. There are several reasons I love Thursdays: it's one day closer to the weekend, Thursday night television is my favorite- I can't wait for a new season of Grey's, and finally Thursday nights hold many memories for the A-Team and the B-Team at Presbyterian College. Thursday nights were irreplaceable for 5 of my closest friends and me. This Thursday proves to be another great day- in just a few hours I will be heading to the beach to celebrate a special friend. With that said, today did mark a bittersweet moment of my summer-it is the last day I was able to walk with my favorite walkers...and with that said, it is the last free Thursday before school starts- YIKES.
Today has proven to be productive in the sense that I have exercised, made two dishes to take to the beach, visited my mom's new classroom, showered, packed for the beach, and typed lots of things up for school. I love that feeling that comes with accomplishment-even when they are little things!
As I blog today, I know that I don't have very much say. But I did want to touch base with my readers. Like I said, later on today I will be off to the beach with a group of girls that are fun, energetic, and love to soak up the sun as much as I do. I have my suits, my hat, and my sunscreen ready to go. I have never been that big on sunscreen until this summer. I have applied sun screen every time I've been out in the sun this summer, and to my surprise, I haven't been burnt and I do have a pretty decent summer tan! We are headed for Myrtle Beach to stay in a condo for the weekend. I am super excited to put my toes in the sand!
I do want to let you know that I will not have a blog for tomorrow or Saturday, but I do look forward to sharing my weekend with you on Sunday. I hope that everyone has a safe, fun, and happy weekend. Cheers.
